After the wet week we have had, crossing our fingers seemed to work as the weather dried up for todays wedding at The Lion Quays Hotel and Spa on the North Wales and Shropshire border, between Chirk and Oswestry. We went to meet Eleri first for some pre-wedding bridal shots in the bridal suite. Then off to meet the Ian and his bestman for some shots in the gardens. The sun was now shining and the temperatures were creeping up. Back then to take some pre-ceremony shots of Eleri in her beautiful dress before she went down to the ceremony room. After the formal signing of the register, time then to take the newly weds of to the gardens for some romantic shots down by the canal side. Family and friends group shot followed before heading on indoors for the wedding breakfast. An entertaining speech by Ian made my job of photographing the guests easy, as all the guests were relaxed and enjoying the day. The evening reception offered great music from the band and another opportunity to take some shots of Eleri and Ian, as the final sunshine of the day started to disappear into the warm evening light, making for some lovely shots again in the gardens. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Potter. I look forward to meeting up with you again soon following your honeymoon.
