Early start for todays wedding. Left rainy Chirk at 5.15am to get to Anna’s home in Wigan for the bridal shots. Had some lovely shots with Anna getting ready, then off to Craxton wood Hotel to meet Raymond. The rain was getting quite heavy by now. The ceremony produced some lovely moments for me to shoot, and by the time we went back outside the rain was easing off. True Reflections’ famous umbrellas were on hand to make sure the bride stayed dry for the first few shots with the wedding car in the grounds of the hotel. Family group shots followed, then I left them enjoy their wedding breakfasts while I took some time to get some food myself before heading back for the afternoon shoot.
By the time the meal finished, the sun was shining and I took Anna and Raymond round the gardens to get some romantic shots. The gardens had lots of lovely shaded areas to provide some excellent contrasting backgrounds for the photographs. a couple of fun and spontanious shots complimented by some posed and romantic ones. We then went back to the hotel to meet up with the guests and the “bouquet toss” which was caught by the best man !!!!! The traditional cutting of the cake followed before I left them to enjoy the remainder of their day. Congratulations to them both and I look forward to meeting up again to view your album image choices soon.
