Christmassy feel to today’s wedding on 23rd December at The Davenport Green Hall in Manchester. The weather was a bit on the blustery shower side rather than snow or frosty ground, but the setting was beautiful for the wedding of Michala and Danny.
Coverage started at the bridal preps, where the girls were busy getting ready for the day ahead. At the church the grooms men were waiting their arrival. The ceremony was a festive occasion with the Church decorated for the season. Off to the reception at The Davenport Green Hall, which is ideally situated for weddings on the outskirts of Manchester in beautiful landscaped gardens. Photographs both inside and outdoors avoiding the showers, using the bride and grooms wedding theme of “A Winter Wonderland”.
Speech coverage was humorous – the best man speech re-living the antics of the groom and himself during their colourful youth.
A short break before the evening reception which began with the cake cutting and the traditional tossing of the bridal bouquet to the waiting guests. On then to the first dance, which was enjoyed by all the guests, taking to the floor along with the bride and groom.
Congratulation to Mr and Mrs Marfleet, I look forward to designing your wedding album in 2012. Happy New Year to you both!
